Frequently asked questions
Is the data real-time?
Prices refresh through the trading session from what PSX publishes, but they are not a licensed real-time feed and should not be used to route orders. Confirm a price with your broker before trading.
Can I buy and sell shares here?
No. OS Invest is a research and tracking tool. It does not execute orders and does not hold client money. You trade through your own licensed PSX brokerage, then record the trade in the portfolio tracker if you want to follow it here.
Do I need an account?
Not for market data: the whole terminal is open without signing in. An account is needed for watchlists, a portfolio and price alerts, so they can follow you between the browser and the mobile app.
Where does the company information come from?
Profiles, fundamentals, announcements, financial reports and payout history are taken from the pages and documents PSX publishes for each listed company. Nothing is estimated or filled in by hand.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. The OS Invest app for Android uses the same account, so watchlists, portfolio and alerts stay in sync with the terminal. Push alerts are delivered by the app.
What does Pro change?
Pro removes ads from the mobile app and gives priority support. It does not unlock market data; that stays free for everyone.
